For example; you could paint vinyl floors instead of replacing them. The result would be almost the same, but with more money saved. Since vinyl paint soaks into the surface of material, it is much harder to damage the surface and to tear it away.
Vinyl paint’s advantage over other paints lies in the fact that vinyl paint is offering great coverage. You only need one coat of vinyl paint while other paints require at least two, in most cases three or more. Additionaly, vinyl is flexible and durable and therfore it lasts much longer so you don’t have to repaint the area too often.
However, there are certain disadvantages of using the vinyl paint. Sometimes the paint simply won’t stick. Because of that you need to carefully prepare entire area that you plan to paint. Also, if you want to repaint the area that was previously painted with vinyl with some other paint, it can be rather difficult task because new paint won’t stick. You first need to clean everything. Additinally, another bad side is that vinyl paint isn’t environment-friendly so don’t just throw it anywhere.
